Supply chain and/or manufacturing operations experience for minimum 10 years
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering, with APICS/CIPS certification preferred
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills to convert data into actionable improvements
Team management experience essential

Fluent English essential
The ability to think strategically and implement actions operationally within a matrix organization

Manager, Supply Chain – Moosic, PA
Lead an integrated supply chain management team encompassing sourcing, procurement and supplier relations, in concert with other platform and corporate functions. Continuously improve supplier delivery performance, cost of poor quality and total cost of acquisition, while improving supply chain processes and efficiencies to reduce demand-to-fulfilment cycle times.
The supply chain manager will report directly to the plant manager and matrix report to the global platform supply chain team. The position will be located at the Moosic, Pennsylvania operations, which serves as the pump parts distribution center for North America and beyond. There is also a required coordination with our (3) NA pump parts manufacturing sites and (11) NA pump service centers.
Staff: 8 buyers and supervisor(s)
Annual Direct Material Spend of $35MM
Travel requirements: approximately 10% overall
Develop and manage a stable supplier base to deliver quality products and service on time to customer required dates, management of external capacity, secure globally competitive pricing, and drive supplier performance improvements.
Monitor and improve supply chain performance metrics including, but not limited to, supplier on-time delivery, supplier cost of poor quality (in conjunction with Quality Assurance), procurement process cycle times, inventory and DPO (in conjunction with Finance).
Develop a supply chain Annual Operating Plan (AOP), based on the forecast annual spend for direct and indirect material, determine cost reduction opportunity projects/initiatives and drive throughout the year in line with savings/cost reduction objectives.
Improve the efficiency of purchasing processes working closely with other site functional leaders to eliminate the upstream challenges.
Manage the training, development, retention and succession of staff to ensure improved people performance, career development and retention.
Ensure compliance with corporate policy and regulations covering such aspects as ethics, integrity, health and safety, and other requirements.
Develop and determine commodity strategy in alignment with regional commodity strategies
- Experience with Oracle and Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) a plus.
